Fertilizer Facility Floating Transfer Dock
River Consulting provided complete detailed preliminary and final design and construction
management for the new floating transfer dock at the St. James Stevedoring
facility in Union, LA. The new dock allowed the facility to continue operations
during abnormally high water levels, and the facility was recently awarded
the 2011 International Bulk Journal Best Specialist Dry Port or Terminal award.
